Feel would go through many name and design changes (some including "Volt" and "Dexstar") before eventually landing on "Ristar", an anthropomorphic shooting star with white gloves and lightning-bolt patterned shoes. Being designed by Yuji Uekawa, this character would be known as " Feel", who was a yellow, non-star shaped, sphere-bodied creature that would feel their surroundings. While not confirmed, it is assumed this idea was repurposed for what would become Ristar, instead being one where a character would stretch their arms in order to grab and throw objects. This idea was rejected for the "rolling hedgehog" idea. One of these concepts, drawn and created by Naoto Oshima, was a blue rabbit that would pick up and throw around objects using its ears. Go download Ristar and think back about how the world seemed much more claim in 1995.During the development of the game, Sonic The Hedgehog, SEGA held an eternal contest to create a main character for the game, and in turn, a new mascot for the company. If you missed it, the original Sonic the Hedgehog is available, Altered Beast, Comix Zone, and more. With SEGA Forever, many great titles are made available for free with the helps of ads, but a one-time purchase can be placed inside each game to remove ads. The launch of this game is a part of SEGA Forever, one of the best things to ever happen for classic gamers on mobile. You play as a star with stretchable arms who visits different planets, climbing around different obstacles and baddies in order to defeat Greedy, an evildoer who has taken control of the Valdi galaxy. If you aren’t familiar with Ristar, the game is a platformer, quite similar to Sonic. Both characters are separate, but essentially share the same DNA. While I may have only been 5 years old in ’95, I understand the importance of this character, as it was based off an original idea that would later become Sonic the Hedgehog. All the way from 1995, SEGA’s Ristar is now available for Android and iOS devices.
